Greenbelt Program
DMAIC, an acronym for Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control is a systematic, scientific and fact based process for continued improvement. This closed-loop process eliminates unproductive steps, often focuses on new measurements, and applies technology for improvement.

Professional Sales and Marketing Excellence
The LORD Professional Sales and Marketing Development Program provides our employees with the ability to grow in the competencies (skills, knowledge, characteristics) of an innovative, customer centered Professional Sales/Marketing Partner. Training is constructed to fit the individual’s career path.

Manufacturing Excellence
Learn best practices in manufacturing through Lean Manufacturing, a leadership approach, a management philosophy, and a set of tactical methods focused on improving business performance. It employs the concept of Lean Leadership, High Performance Teams, Kaizen Events, the 20 Keys of Lean Manufacturing, and a Waste Reduction Model.

Operator Certification
Through classroom presentations and workshops, learners understand and acquire the skills necessary to perform product inspection and testing of LORD products. LORD On-line Learning Center
In our commitment to your continuing development, LORD offers a wide variety of e-learning courses to meet the various development needs of employees. Through the LORD Online Learning Center and in partnership with others, courses are available for LORD-specific topics, desktop application instruction and business skills development.

Business Leader Development Program
Participants are provided with learning tools and cross-functional business experience needed to develop our company’s future business leaders.

Aid For Education
Provides financial assistance to full-time employees who continue their education in courses in their field of work or in areas related to the interest of the Corporation. Reimbursement is provided, upon successful completion of the course(s), for 75 percent of the tuition and required fees for up to two courses (6 credits maximum or 8 credits with courses requiring labs) in any one semester or term.
