Paul Michael (“Mickey”) Pohl is a litigation partner and the Partner-in-Charge of the Pittsburgh Office of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, one of the world’s largest law firms.
He graduated from Princeton University in 1970, where he won the Lyman Atwater Prize in Politics, was nominated by Princeton for a Rhodes Scholarship and received a National Science Foundation Grant for post-graduate research. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during 1971-72, and received the Navy Achievement Medal for his service at Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps in Washington, D.C. Mickey graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1975, was the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review, and won The Gourley Cup Trial Competition sponsored by the Allegheny County Bar Association.
He served as a member of the Board of Directors of AMSCO International from 1990-1995. He also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Franciscan University, and was the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Gannon University. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Seton Hill College and is a member of the Board of the Foundation Maria Thron in Austria. He has served on the Board of Catholic Charities of Pittsburgh. |
