Wastewater Pretreatment Awards
Pretreatment refers to the wastewater pollution reduction conducted at LORD plants prior to discharging this wastewater to public sewers. Our manufacturing plant in Erie, Pa. has received the Pretreatment Excellence Award from the City of Erie twice. Our manufacturing plant in Bowling Green, Ky. has won the Pretreatment Excellence Award from the Kentucky-Tennessee Water Environment Federation in both 1995 and 1999.

Air Emission Reduction Award
LORD Corporation earned a 33/50 plaque form the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) by halving solvent emissions to the air from all our manufacturing facilities over a seven-year period from the 1980s to the 1990s. The plaque was signed by former EPA Administrator Carol Browner and former Vice President Al Gore.
