Challenge
Standard air-suspended seats compromise shock and vibration control, hampering operator responsiveness and control while increasing the risk of fatigue and injury.

Solution
LORD Corporation’s Motion Master Ride Management System automatically adapts to both the driver’s body weight and continually changing levels of shock and vibration, thanks to a shock absorber containing LORD Corporation’s patented magneto-rheological (MR) fluid. The MR fluid responds to the controller within milliseconds to deliver a smoother ride. In addition, the controller continuously monitors seat motion and determines optimal damping force, while sensing road conditions and adjusting at a rate of more than 500 times per second.

Results
With enhanced suspension isolation, operators are more comfortable spending longer hours in the equipment and are able to work at higher speeds, increasing productivity.
