Environmentally Friendly Adhesives
Environmentally Preferred Coatings and Adhesives (EPCA) products are Chemlok covercoats, both solvent- and aqueous-based, that do not contain any intentional addition of heavy metals such as lead. These products are compliant with the European End of Vehicle Life Directive which states that lead must not be intentionally added to the product and the level can not exceed 0.1% or 1000ppm. LORD Corporation’s EPCA products usually are in the 10 ppm level or less.
