MetalJacket 1100 Coating
LORD MetalJacket® 1100 metal treatment, the initial coating in the MetalJacket process, is an environmentally friendly metal treatment that replaces traditional inorganic treatments. MetalJacket 1100 provides excellent corrosion resistance and functional protection for ferrous
substrates when used in conjunction with MetalJacket 2110 or MetalJacket 5000 primer/topcoats.
Applied via an automated autodepositing dip process, MetalJacket 1100 is applied over bare or clean only substrates. Its unique and patented chemistry consists primarily of water, inorganic acids and LORD formulated polymers.
