MetalJacket 1510 Coating
LORD MetalJacket® 1510 metal treatment, the initial coating in the MetalJacket process, is an environmentally friendly metal treatment applied over mild steel as well as zinc phosphate pretreatments. MetalJacket 1510 metal
treatment provides both excellent corrosion resistance and functional protection for automotive and industrial applications when used in conjunction with MetalJacket 5000 product line.
Applied via an automated autodepositing dip process, MetalJacket 1510 metal treatment is applied over phospated ductile, cast iron and mild steel substrates as well as non-phosphated mild steel. Its unique and patented chemistry consists primarily of water, inorganic acids and LORD formulated polymers.
