LORD pulley isolators provide effective damping and isolation of torsional vibration to create smoother, quieter and, in many cases, longer operation of a number of different automotive components. Functioning as crankshaft pulley isolators, LORD control products isolate the front-end accessory drive (FEAD) from torsional forces that occur as a result of engine firing. They also improve the life of FEAD components by reducing maximum torsional deflections at resonance.
