Surface-effect engine dampers can be installed in a vertical or horizontal orientation. Made from robust engineered plastic and advanced damping grease, they are 80% lighter than their steel and hydraulic oil counterparts. In addition, they do not contain fluids therefore they cannot leak.
The technology can be integrated into a variety of systems; for example, torque struts, air springs, engine mounts, cab mounts, and suspension struts.
