Diagnostics Systems 

LORD Corporation has developed unique expertise in electronically monitoring moving parts to predict when maintenance is needed. These systems employ both diagnostic hardware and software to monitor the health of rotating components, indicating when maintenance is needed and thus avoiding costly equipment failures. For example, on a propeller aircraft, the on-board Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) System monitors, analyzes and displays propeller performance. In addition to obtaining valuable data, the system serves as a key tool in predictive maintenance.
