One Source Solution Reduces Complexity for OEM

With more than 100 components comprising a helicopter's rotor, OEMs face tremendous supply and manufacturing strains assembling rotor hubs. As a flight critical rotor hub component supplier with a long-standing relationship with the key OEMs, LORD offered a solution – complete assembly of the rotor hub – resulting in one source and one order. After receiving the yoke, LORD procures or machines all the other components and then completes the final assembly. Aftermarket overhaul and repair services for these same hub assemblies also are completed by LORD. With substantial efficiencies gained, the OEM is able to focus their efforts on their business and customers.
