LORD Corporation has sold its cermet thick film business to Heraeus Materials Technology LLC for an undisclosed amount.
The cermet thick film business primarily serves industrial manufacturers of electronic products and thick film hybrid circuits. The acquisition, effective December 31, 2009, includes the cermet thick film technology, products, and customers. LORD Corporation will retain its polymeric thick film product line.
