LORD Corporation's Means to Speak at Polyurethane Manufacturers Association Event

Jeff Means, Technical Service Representative, will present a whitepaper at the Polyurethane Manufacturers Association (PMA) Processing Techniques Seminars (PTS) prior to their annual meeting.
Held in New Orleans, La. at Sheraton New Orleans from Sunday, April 21 through Tuesday, April 24, the event is designed for members of the polyurethane industry. The PTS will occur at the same location on Saturday, April 21 through Sunday, April 22. The PTS are in-depth, hands-on education courses on the techniques of the cast urethane industry. These seminars are held every two years.
Means will present his paper on Saturday, April 21 at 10:45 a.m. The title of the presentation is "Adhesives for Bonding Polyurethane: A Process Review" and it will address the bonding of polyurethanes to various substrates during the curing process of the polyurethane. The presentation will include such topics as industry terminology, surface preparation, bonding agent selection, bonding agent application and failure analysis.
Means is in his twenty-second year of technical service providing support for industrial and automotive customers. Responsibilities at LORD include audits, operator training, new product introduction and troubleshooting. He has made presentations at a variety of industry associations throughout the United States, Europe, China, Malaysia and India. He obtained his B.S. in General Science from Clarion University.
