CALIFORNIA TRANSPARENCY IN SUPPLY CHAINS ACT

At LORD Corporation, our Mission is to transform innovative ideas into long-term value for our customers, employees, and shareholders.  Our nearly 90 years in business has depended on our ability to innovate and our commitment to operating with complete integrity.  Our people and the communities where we operate are the bedrock of our innovation, and the reason why our vision of corporate sustainability starts with the company's core values.

We place integrity and ethical behavior; employee dignity, safety, and well-being; and innovation above all.  These values extend into every aspect of how we conduct our business.

Accordingly, LORD is committed to compliance with legal standards applicable to our business worldwide, and demands similar commitments from our suppliers, distributors and strategic partners. We operate with complete integrity with respect to our interactions with employees, suppliers, collaborators and customers, and expect the same of these partners.

The 2010 California Transparency in Supply Chains Act requires manufacturers to make disclosures regarding the risks of human trafficking and slavery in their supply chains. LORD annually communicates to all of our suppliers our commitment to ethical and legal standards and our prohibition on forced labor. However, LORD does not conduct the specific verification, audit, and related actions described in Section 1714.43(c)(1)-(5) of the Civil Code.
