Andrew Hecker Named LORD Corporation Senior Vice President Commercial and Corporate DevelopmentShare:

(Cary, N.C. – Feb. 7, 2017) – LORD Corporation – a global leader in vibration and motion control technologies, sensing systems, adhesives and coatings, announced that Andrew Hecker has joined LORD as Senior Vice President, Commercial and Corporate Development and an officer of the company.
In this role, Hecker will lead the company’s organic and inorganic growth initiatives aimed at reinforcing the LORD mission—transforming innovative ideas into value for our customers. These initiatives will focus on increasing collaboration with customers to address current and emerging needs, and expanding the LORD solutions portfolio to meet them. Additionally, Hecker will increase the channels, partnerships and alliances through which LORD delivers solutions to the market.
Hecker will also lead the company’s acquisitions pipeline, with the objective of adding complimentary capabilities serving customers through an enhanced solutions offer.
Prior to joining LORD, Hecker served in various functional and business leadership positions, most recently as Vice President of Corporate Development for Valspar Corporation, a global coatings company.

Hecker holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and philosophy from Wabash College and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.
Earlier in his career, Hecker served in leadership roles at ArvinMeritor Inc., a global automotive supplier, completing assignments in the United Kingdom and France.
Hecker will be based out of LORD corporate headquarters in Cary, N.C. and collaborate closely with company global industry groups and regions.
