LORD® 2232 Silver Conductor
LORD® 2232 silver conductor is a conductive dipping ink for tantalum capacitor electrode terminations. The composition is a silver-bearing, thermoplastic body silver designed primarily for use as a conductive electrode solder base for tantalum capacitors. It can also be used as a general-purpose conductive paint for printed circuit board repair and electromagnetic shielding applications.
Shelf Life
Shelf life is six months from date of shipment when stored at 25°C in original, unopened container. Do not store near heat, sparks or open flame.
Features and Benefits
• Application Diversity - provides excellent rheological properties for either dip or paint applications; designed for use as a dippable silver paint for metallizing tantalum capacitors.
• Slow Settling - provides good resistance to settling; easily mixed after storage.
• Solderability - readily solderable using conventional tin/lead/silver solders for external lead attachment.
• Excellent Stability - cured film provides excellent electrical and environmental stability both initially and upon aging; remains stable at higher temperatures.
