Celebrating National Agriculture Day

Where Does Your Food Come From?

If you're like many, the answer is the grocery store. However, the grocery store is just from where it's distributed. In reality, we rely on agriculture for the very necessities of life.  There's an entire industry dedicated to providing plentiful and safe food for consumption, as well as a wide range of comfortable, fashionable clothing choices. From chicken, beef and pork to cotton and corn, the agriculture industry is working harder than ever.

Today, each American farmer feeds more than 165 people. And the need for food produced in the United States is dramatic. Agriculture is this nation's number one export and vitally important in sustaining a healthy economy.

And it's not just the farmer who makes our food possible. The entire agriculture industry, from farm to store, are vital links in a chain that brings food to every citizen - and millions of people abroad.

New technology means farmers are more environmentally friendly than ever before. LORD is proud to help contribute to this through thousands of standard solutions including vibration isolators, flexible couplings, structural and rubber bonding adhesives, sensors, electric steering feedback devices and thermal management materials. Our engineers can also design and develop new innovative, customizable solutions for our ag equipment customers’ needs.

From tractors to harvesters, and everything in between, our goal is to improve agricultural equipment with our solutions.
Farmers – We Salute You!
