Coatings for Electric Vehicles and EV Batteries

Depend on strong, cost-effective coatings to provide insulating barriers around electric vehicle batteries and motors. We offer a variety of coatings suited for different applications, including flame-resistant (FR), di-electric, and magnet coatings.

Dielectric Protective Coating

Compared to traditional plating methods like hydroscopic epoxy, LORD JMC Coatings are easier to apply and less prone to cracking. Our protective coating provides good electrical insulation and protects against corrosion, oil and heat. They can be used on magnets and electric vehicle cooling plates. JMC neodymium (NdFeB) coatings are developed to meet the needs of NdFeB magnet surface treatment applications. When applied on motor magnets in tandem with an adhesive, it can increase power density by reduce eddy currents.

Sipiol Weatherstrip Coatings

Discover how Sipiol weatherstrip coatings can help you improve sealing durability and performance for primary and secondary doors, trunks, hoods and sun roofs, corner molds and convertibles. Our coatings offer high abrasion resistance, UV stability and noise reduction. Sipiol weatherstrip coatings are one- and two-component products, comprised mostly of water-based systems, that can be applied by spray or brush application methods.
