Prasanna Srinivasan, Manager, Business Development & Marketing at LORD Corporation, will discuss “Optimizing Thermal Management in Electric Vehicles to Improve Performance.” The presentation highlights how high thermal conductivity materials can increase power density in chargers, power electronics and electric motors. Key themes of his presentation include the value of involving the materials supplier during the design phase; trends in EV powertrain development as well as cooling EV components; an overview of different materials including potting, gap fillers, thermal pads and adhesives; and case studies.

Srinivasan is focused on growing the company’s thermal management business. Prior to joining LORD Corporation, he served as global segment leader, among other positions, at DuPont Electronics and as a Senior Semiconductor Professional at IBM. He has a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Strategy from Duke University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Madras University.
