Tesa L. Oechsle Honored With UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School Alumni Merit Award

LORD Corporation Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer Tesa L. Oechsle has been named a recipient of the 2012 Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) Alumni Merit Award, presented by The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School. Oechsle was selected for the annual award for exemplifying the Kenan-Flagler tradition of excellence in her work and community involvement, as well as her ongoing support of the business school, post-graduation. She was recognized at an awards ceremony on Nov. 2.
"We at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School are impressed with all that Tesa has accomplished as an award-winning CFO, but we are equally proud of her as a wonderful wife and mother, and for her contributions to the community," said Jim Dean, dean, UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. "We are honored to present her with the 2012 Executive MBA Alumni Merit Award.""The time I spent at Kenan-Flagler was truly invaluable as it prepared me to knowledgably navigate today's complex global economy," said Oechsle. "With a presence in 25 countries, LORD faces opportunities and challenges on many fronts, which I am better able to address thanks to my training from the executive MBA program. I have carried these lessons with me through the years, and am honored to accept the EMBA Alumni Merit Award."
