Need to determine the best plastic bonding adhesive for your application? Let's talk, we're here to help.

Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)

  • Chemlok 8600: One-coat aqueous adhesive used to bond injection-molded thermoplastic polyurethanes to metal. Chemlok 8600 also bonds a wide variety of urethanes of varying hardness to most metals.
  • Chemlok 213: Blue adhesive designed for bonding thermoplastic materials to metals and other rigid substrates during the injection molding process. It is composed of a mixture of polymers and curatives dissolved in an organic solution.

Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE)

  • Chemlok 487 A/B: Two-component adhesive used to bond thermoplastic elastomers to metals, glass, plastic (both thermoplastic and thermoset) and other elastomers during injection molding.
  • Chemlok 485 & Curative 44: Two-component adhesive system used for insert mold bonding of PVC and Alcryn to substrates such as metal, rubber and other thermoplastic elastomers.

Polyamide (PA)

Polycarbonate (PC)

  • Chemok EP6897-61: Clear adhesive designed for bonding thermoplastic materials to metals and other rigid substrates during the injection molding process. It is composed of a mixture of polymers and curatives dissolved in an organic solution.
