Our Company

Thick Film Materials

Silver Conductors | Polymer Resistors | Marking Inks | Solvents | Carbon Resistors | Protective & Conductive Coatings

LORD's thick film materials include a variety of silver conductors, polymer resistors, protective coatings, marking inks, solvents, carbon resistors and conductive coatings. LORD's thick film materials include a variety of products to fit our customers' needs. We offer a wide selection of different silver conductors, polymer resistors, protective coatings, marking inks, solvents, carbon resistors and conductive coatings. These products can be used for various tasks, such as surface mount attachment, screen print application, protection against shock and more.

Many of our products work together to give you the best results possible. For example, our solvents work directly with our silver conductors to reduce viscosity for dip applications. If you need help choosing one of our standard thick film material products or if you need a custom material to meet your needs, let us help you determine an appropriate solution for your application.

LORD Thick Films - Features and Benefits

  • Application Diversity - may be applied by screen printing, syringe or pin transfer.
  • Durable - cured film is extremely tough and offers protection against thermal shock, moisture, abrasion, oxidation and corrosion.
  • Easy to Apply - low viscosity and increased working life allow for easy application.
  • Environmentally Resistant - provides good strength and resistance to thermal shock.
  • Excellent Adhesion - cured film provides excellent mechanical properties with good bonding to a variety of surfaces.
  • Excellent Conductivity - cured film provides excellent electrical conductivity.
  • Excellent Stability - cured film provides excellent electrical and environmental stability both initially and upon aging; remians stable at higher temperatures.
  • Slow Settling - provides good resistance to settling; easily mixed after storage.
  • Solderability - readily solderable using conventional tin/lead/silver solders for external lead attachment.
